Ciekawie zapowiadała się partia Kramnika z Aronianem, i taka też była, wyszli z sali gry jako ostatni a grali ze zmiennym przebiegiem w większej części przeważał Kramnik, ale w końcu partia zakończyła się remisem.
Topałow ze Swidlerem także zagrali ciekawą partię, w początkowej fazie Topałow miał przewagę którą stopniowo tracił i przegrał, jako jedyny w tej rundzie.
Nadal prowadzi Anand z 3,5 punktami.
