Nie żyje czołowy szachista świata, arcymistrz, Vugar Gashimov z Azerbejdżanu, był bardzo ceniony i lubiany, niestety przegrał walkę z chorobą, zmarł w nocy z 10 na 11 stycznia 2014 roku, w wieku 27 lat.
Deceased leading chess grandmaster, Vugar Gashimov of Azerbaijan, was highly regarded and well-liked, unfortunately lost his battle with the disease, died on the night of the 10th and 11th January 2014, the age of 27 years.
